C0963 BMW Fault Code
Check C0963 OBD Fault Code ReasonBMW Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Intermittent The MAF sensor circuit is monitored by the PCM for sudden voltage (or air flow) input change through the comprehensive component monitor (CCM).
If during the last 40 warm-up cycles in key ON engine running the PCM detects a voltage (or air flow) change beyond the minimum or maximum calibrated limit, a continuous memory diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.
C0963 Code Symptoms :

Diagnosis And Repairing C0963
C0963 OBD2 reports a sensor fault, replacement of the sensor is unlikely to resolve the underlying problem. The fault is most likely to be caused by the systems that the sensor is monitoring, but might even be caused by the wiring to the sensor itself.
How to fix C0963 code ?
- Failures of clutch motion/travel sensors.
- Faulty Air fuel ratio (A/F) Sensor 1 Bank 1
- Fuel injectors harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coils circuit poor electrical connection
At this point we are assuming that the fuses and relays are good. You will need to locate the PCM/TCM and the power input signal circuit using your vehicle information source.
Unplug the connector from the PCM/TCM, place the ignition switch in the ON position, and probe the appropriate circuit with the positive test lead of the DVOM.
